Depart from Hanoi for our day trip to Van Long, reaching the Nature Reserve after a scenic two-hour drive (110km). Upon arrival, embark on a bamboo rowboat for a leisurely journey along the picturesque Van Long wetland. Marvel at the stunning scenery surrounded by rice paddies, lotus ponds, and towering limestone mountain peaks.
Following lunch at a local riverside restaurant, take a brief transfer along a tranquil countryside road to Hoa Lu, Vietnam’s ancient capital from eleven centuries ago. Spend an hour exploring the Dinh and Le Temples of Ancient Capital Hoa Lu, dedicated to King Dinh and King Le, the founders of the ancient capital during the 10th century.
Conclude the day with a return to Hanoi in the late afternoon. Arrive back at your hotel.
