08:15 – Begin the ride with an ascent up Bac Sum Pass, a 20-turn serpentine road offering panoramic views over valleys and hidden ethnic villages.
Continue to Heaven’s Gate in Tam Son, perched at over 1,200 meters above sea level, for sweeping views of limestone mountains and deep valleys. Stop at the viewpoint for the Twin Mountains before visiting Nam Dam Village, home to 100% Dao ethnic minority. Here, you’ll learn about their clay house architecture and cultural traditions. Enjoy a home-cooked lunch prepared by a local family.
In the afternoon, ride through scenic valleys and along rivers, passing hidden villages and mountain lakes rarely seen by tourists. Visit a local handicraft weaving family before continuing on back roads to Yen Minh. Overnight in a local homestay with dinner provided.

Day 2: Yen Minh – Tham Ma Road – Pao’s House – Lung Cu Flag Pole – Ma Pi Leng Pass – Meo Vac
After breakfast, ride to Tham Ma Pass with its famous nine curves — a perfect photo stop. Visit Pao’s House, over a hundred years old and a filming location for a famous Vietnamese movie.
Continue to Lung Cu Flag Pole, marking Vietnam’s northernmost point with views over the border to China. Visit Lo Lo Chai Village, home to the small Lo Lo ethnic group, and learn about their clay house traditions. Lunch at a local restaurant.
In the afternoon, explore Dong Van’s Old Quarter over coffee, then ride the legendary Ma Pi Leng Pass for panoramic views over the deepest valley in Vietnam and the emerald Nho Que River. Stop for photos and coffee before riding to Meo Vac. Overnight in a traditional Hmong-style homestay complex with dinner.

Day 3: Meo Vac – Mau Due – Duong Thuong Valley – Du Gia Village
After breakfast, ride through landscapes of fishing lakes, rice terraces, and ethnic Dao and Tay villages. This day combines scenic riding with short walks for photography and cultural interaction.
Arrive in Du Gia Village in the late afternoon. Check into a local homestay and enjoy a family-style dinner. In summer, visit the nearby waterfall for swimming.

Day 4: Du Gia – Duong Thuong Valley Road – Khe Mang Road – Terrace Rice Paddies Valley – Bac Me – Ha Giang
Today’s ride takes you downhill towards Ha Giang City along one of the region’s most scenic routes. Pass through jungle landscapes, remote villages, and valleys lined with terraced rice paddies.
Stop at several viewpoints for photos before arriving back in Ha Giang in the afternoon.
Note: If you need to return to Hanoi on the same day, we can arrange an early transfer, departing Ha Giang around 14:00 for the late afternoon limousine or bus, or the night bus at 20:00–21:00.

Morning:
Our Ha Giang Easy Riders team will pick you up from your hotel, hostel, meeting point, or bus station in Ha Giang City. After just a few kilometers outside the city, the scenery changes dramatically — towering limestone mountains appear on the horizon.
- Cross Bac Sum Pass and ride up to Heaven’s Gate to enjoy the panoramic view over Tam Son town and the famous Twin Mountains.
- Continue towards Yen Minh town, where we stop for a delicious local lunch.
Afternoon:
Ride through the picturesque Chin Khoanh Pass, part of the UNESCO-recognized Dong Van Karst Plateau Geopark.
- Observe endless rice terraces, limestone peaks, and hill tribe villages where locals farm and live in traditional ways.
- Optional stop at the Chinese border for the northernmost viewpoint in Vietnam.
- Visit the historic H’Mong King’s Palace in Sa Phin — the former residence of the powerful Vuong family.
Arrive in Dong Van Town by late afternoon. Enjoy dinner and free time to explore the Old Quarter before resting for the night.

Day 2: Dong Van – Ma Pi Leng Pass – Nho Que River – Meo Vac – Du Gia Village
Morning:
- After breakfast, ride along the legendary Ma Pi Leng Pass on the Happiness Road — considered the most stunning mountain pass in Vietnam, with dramatic cliffs and sweeping views.
- Descend the Sky Path for a 360° panoramic view of the valley and Nho Que River.
- Ride down the winding 29-turn road to the riverbank and enjoy a boat cruise or kayaking on the emerald waters of Nho Que. Swimming is optional.
Afternoon:
- Lunch in Meo Vac Town.
- Continue the journey through remote villages including Lung Ho and Mau Due, witnessing life in isolated communities.
- Arrive in Du Gia Village, a charming community where seven ethnic minorities live together.
- Check into a Tay minority homestay and enjoy a family-style dinner with “happy water” (local rice wine).

Day 1: Ha Giang City – Heaven’s Gate – Lung Tam Village – Yen Minh – H’mong King Palace – Dong Van
08:30 – Meet at the designated meeting point in Ha Giang City. Your guide and rider will give you a safety briefing and detailed tour introduction before departure.
As we leave the city, the scenery quickly transforms. Winding mountain roads lead us to Tam Son, offering your first breathtaking glimpse of what lies ahead. We’ll ride through the Dong Van Karst Plateau Geopark, a UNESCO-recognized geological wonder.
Along the way, admire terraced rice fields, countless limestone formations, and hidden valleys dotted with ethnic minority villages. Watch locals working in the fields and get a feel for authentic rural life in northern Vietnam.
We’ll visit Lung Tam Village, famous for traditional handicrafts, and later stop at the Chinese border viewpoint – the northernmost point of Vietnam. Before reaching Dong Van, we explore the historic H’mong King Palace, former home of the Vuong family.
Arrive in Dong Van Town in the late afternoon. Stroll around the old quarter, enjoy dinner, and rest for the night.

Day 2: Dong Van – Ma Pi Leng Pass – Meo Vac – Yen Minh – Ha Giang City
After breakfast, we set off to conquer Ma Pi Leng Pass, the most spectacular section of the Ha Giang Loop. Known as the “King of Vietnam’s Passes,” Ma Pi Leng offers dramatic views over the emerald Nho Que River far below.
From the pass, we ride towards Meo Vac, then follow a scenic route back to Yen Minh. This road is equally stunning, passing through lush valleys and remote mountain hamlets.
Throughout the journey, you’ll meet different ethnic groups such as the H’mong, easily recognized by their colorful traditional clothing. The mix of dramatic landscapes, cultural encounters, and peaceful countryside life makes this trip unforgettable.
Return to Ha Giang City around 16:30–17:00 (flexible depending on your transport back to Hanoi).
