Cuc Phuong National Park (Full Day Tour)

At 7.30 AM, your hotel pickup in Hanoi marks the beginning of the journey to Cuc Phuong National Park, situated to the Southwest of Hanoi. The approximately 2.5-hour drive will lead you to the expansive 25,000-hectare primeval forest, boasting the distinct traits of tropical woodlands, a refreshing and pleasant climate, and a diverse array of flora and fauna.

Our initial stop will be at the Endangered Primate Rescue Centre, a non-profit organization committed to rehabilitating, breeding, researching, and conserving endangered primates, along with safeguarding their habitats. Continuing further into the park’s heart, we will explore the “Cave of Early Man,” where archaeological sites from thousands of years ago are preserved. Enjoy a lunch break and relaxation at a traditional house-on-stilts located in the park’s central area.

Next, embark on a brief trek into the National Park to admire the stunning scenery and deepen your knowledge of the rich variety of wildlife and plant life found in Vietnam’s oldest forest. You will also have the opportunity to encounter a colossal ancient tree situated amidst the heart of the jungle.

Finally, take a moment to relax at Mac Lake, nestled in the heart of Cuc Phuong National Park. The serene and rejuvenating ambiance of the lake will reconnect you with nature, refreshing you after the long forest trek. As you wander around Mac Lake, keep an eye out for the vibrant forest butterflies, adding to the beauty of Cuc Phuong National Park. The tour will conclude around 6.30 pm as you are dropped off at your hotel.
