In the morning, you will pay a visit to Ho Chi Minh Complex, including the Mausoleum, his former stilt-house residence, the Presidential Palace and the Ho Chi Minh Museum. The next stop for the morning tour is the Temple of Literature – Vietnam’s first university dating back to 1070

After enjoying a delicious lunch at a local Vietnamese restaurant, you will continue your journey to explore the Museum of Ethnology, which is widely recognized as the best in the country. Don’t forget to admire an extensive display of life-size structures dedicated to Vietnam’s 54 ethnic minority groups. After finishing the history “lesson”, you will take a pleasant walk around Ngoc Son Temple and Hoan Kiem Lake. Ngoc Son Temple, dated back from 13th century, is located on a small beautiful island on Hoan Kiem Lake. Next, don’t miss out the opportunity to go for a 1-hour cyclo tour through the narrow, winding and chaotic streets of the Old Quarter. End of the day with a cup of rich hot Vietnamese coffee at a nostalgic coffee shop (or at a tea house overlooking the West Lake).
