Ba Dinh square where Ho Chi Minh declared Vietnam’s independence from France and where his body now lies inside the mausoleum.

Before August 1945 Revolution, Ba Dinh Square is also known as the Circle Square or Puginier Square.
After the August Revolution, The Democratic Republic of Vietnam was born, it is used to call Round Square Garden flowers or Ba Dinh Square,
The square is named after the Ba Dinh strip of land in Thanh Hoa province where the local uprising broke out against France that lasted from September 1886 to January 1887.
From then until now in Ba Dinh Square took place many grand events of the capital city Hanoi and the whole country, it has recorded many significant breakthroughs in the nation’s history.
