This city tour of Hanoi introducing visitors to many prominent landmarks of the capital will start from the hotel lobby at 8:30 am. In the morning, you will pay a visit to Ho Chi Minh Complex, including the Mausoleum, his former stilt-house residence, the Presidential Palace and the Ho Chi Minh Museum. The next stop for the morning tour is the Temple of Literature – Vietnam’s first university dating back to 1070
After visiting the Temple of Literature you will continue your journey to explore the Tran Quoc Pagoda, which originally constructed in the sixth century during the reign of Emperor Lý Nam Đế (from 544 until 548), thus giving it an age of more than 1,450 years. After finishing the history “lesson”, you will take a pleasant walk around Truc Bach Lake and end of the day with a cup of rich hot Vietnamese coffee at a nostalgic coffee shop (or at a tea house overlooking the West Lake).
Note: the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum is closed all day on Mondays and Fridays, as well as from 1st October to 30th November (approx.) for annual conservation.
